Yes and this behavior is quite annoying for me but also when I have to
present OOo. I have the same problem with
OOo_3.0.0rc2_20080920_LinuxX86-64.

and download the complete document (1 mo only, 268 pages). I made the
entire document with OOo 2.4, both on Linux and Windows. The final
export to pdf is usually done on win32 (at the office) because such
generated pdf are better (more compact) on win32 system than Linux
system :-(

Better pdf on win32 is a behavior I don't understand either as I did a font 
replacement
Arial -> Helvetica
Times NewRoman -> Times
CourrierNew -> Courrier
on both systems.

As you can see, the link "Table des matières" or Table of content in
english is an internal link in a footer and it works because it was
generated on Win32 system.
