Hi Rui, yes this is still an issue: I can install the periodic upgrades that every few days Ubuntu prompts me to install for the packages that already are on my hardisk, but I cannot install new packages and upgrade the entire distribution (that' s the main reason I'm still using Ubuntu 7.10) Anyway, thank you for trying again to fix my computer :) The content of /etc/apt/sources.list is attached to this email.
