I can confirm this with Evince 2.24 w/ poppler 0.8.7 in Intrepid.
I cannot confirm it with Okular 4.1.2, which also uses poppler. This means it
could be a Evince bug or it could just as easily be a bug in the GTK poppler
backend. Somebody who knows more should comment before this can be triaged/
sent upstream to either party.
The PDF also has embedded files, dunno if that's causing any issues.
