Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
I'm using Ubuntu Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron). Once in a while, if I get a
message, and mark it as read, the mail notification icon will appear
after a couple of minutes, even though I haven't received a new message.
Often, if I go back to thunderbird, the message will be marked unread
again. Also, sometimes when I do receive a new message, the popup window
notification will display both the new email, and the email that I had
previously marked as read.
