I have the same problem. I think it's a severe problem because if the screensaver kicks in and locks the screen, I can't log back in - every time I try to type my password, the password box just blinks out and won't accept input. This is on my work machine and the only thing I can do is hard reboot the machine - which loses everything I was working on.
