This is truly great news. I've begun to work with Eric Kow, a darcs leader, to
confirm the fix.
>From the original darcs bug report, it looks like the trigger case to test is
running "darcs whatnews --summary" on a largish repo that is in the 'hashed' or
'darcs-2' format.
Trying that with the fixed and unfixed binaries may show a difference.
