Binary package hint: scim-pinyin
in the SCIM Input Method Setup no smart pinyin method in the input method
window.
I do have install the package (scim-pinyin)
but I can't find it list in the Chinese simplified category of the "The
installed input method services".
in the left panel, there is a Smart Pinyin tab list under IMEngine
