MPPE is enabled on my connection so maybe i'm hitting a different issue.
Having said that, if I disable MPPE via nm applet the change isnt saved
so maybe all is not how it should be. gconf shows the MPPE option is
enabled.

All is good if I downgrade to nm 0.6 in Intrepid.  Network Manager 0.7
