Public bug reported: Binary package hint: python2.5-dev
This also affects the python-dev package. When attempting to install python-dev, apt refuses to do so because the python2.5-dev package requires exactly version 2.5.2-2ubuntu4.1 of python, but I have python2.5.2-2ubuntu5 installed (I assume because I am using the proposed repo). Either the python2.5-dev package needs to accept python2.5.2-2ubuntu4.1 or higher (rather than exactly), or a new version of python2.5-dev (presumably version 2.5.2-2ubuntu5) needs to be created. ** Affects: python-defaults (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: python2.5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: python-defaults (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- python2.5-dev package will not install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
