Hi...

after a while I had now a look at gthumb 2.10.10 included in Ubuntu
8.10. Since I used an old version ov gthumb before I thought my version
did not provide zoom to fit.

Now I found out that there is a keybinding for zoom to fit (shift-x) in
my current version.

When requesting this feature I thought of an implementation like it is already
done in the Options/Viewer tab where you are able to set the default handling
of an image after load.
My idea was to give this menu the zoom to fit option.

It's kinda hard to manually zoom every picture - especially when doing a
slide show.

My request is to add this menu entry and make zoom to fit available as a
default.
