better. Please have a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates, which details the criteria
for updating packages in a stable release. This type of update would not
meet the criteria to qualify for a SRU. However, it may qualify for a
backport (see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports).
Because version 2.3.1-1 has already been backported from Intrepid to
Hardy, I'm going to close this bug as invalid.
