Yes, it always fails to connect, and it only fails to connect to this
server, which is the only server I connect to that doesn't use openssh.
Specifically, here's the info for the server that fails:

$ uname -a; ssh -V
AIX blue3 3 5 00CC746E4C00
ssh: SSH Secure Shell 3.2.9.1 (non-commercial version) on rs6000-ibm-aix

Here are the three servers that work fine:

$ uname -a; ssh -V
Darwin xi00.xicluster 9.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.4.0: Mon Jun  9 19:30:53
PDT 2008; root:xnu-1228.5.20~1/RELEASE_I386 i386
OpenSSH_4.7p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7l 28 Sep 2006

$ uname -a; ssh -V
Darwin xs00.xicluster 9.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 9.4.0: Mon Jun  9 19:36:17
PDT 2008; root:xnu-1228.5.20~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh
OpenSSH_4.7p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7l 28 Sep 2006

$ uname -a; ssh -V
Linux rct2c 2.6.24.3 #1 Sat Sep 20 13:11:10 EDT 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
OpenSSH_4.7p1 Debian-8ubuntu1.2, OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19 Oct 2007
