We're pretty confident our CDs check out correctly otherwise we'd be
getting reports such as this all the time; indeed, we'd have caught it
pre-release. Instead, this strongly suggests either a physical fault in
your DVD drive or a bug in the kernel's driver for your DVD drive.
Please attach the /var/log/syslog file from the installer after the
failure.
