Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: thunar-volman
I run xfce4 on the command line using the startxfce4 script. No gdm. X
comes up as usual. If I plugin an usb memory stick, then there is an
error popup saying
Failed to mount "usbstick"
A security policy in place prevents this sender from
sending this message to this recipient, see message
bus configuration file (rejected message had interface
"org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount"
error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal").
There is no such error if I use gdm to enter xfce4, so I would assume that
thunar is missing something.
I did not touch any of the XML files in /etc/dbus-1, of course.
thunar-volman is version 0.2.0-2ubuntu2.
