OK, I tested with an Logitech USB mouse from my desktop and it works flawlessly on the hardy laptop. So this is related to the Agiler mouse. The mouse works occasionally when I left it attached for long period of times and in fact I'm using it right now on the hardy laptop. Still no useful entries in logs, though..
The mouse has also a keyboard interface as there's a proprietary vertical scroll button (works only with MS Excel or something like that), so could that cause the mouse to malfunction? ** Attachment added: "lsusb.log - hardy laptop with two build-in mice, working Logitech mouse and malfunctioning Agiler mouse" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18139282/lsusb.log ** Summary changed: - usb mouse not working on laptops + Agiler usb mouse not working on laptops -- Agiler usb mouse not working on laptops https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274512 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
