Binary package hint: update-manager
trying to move from feisty to gutsy. update-manager -c ran for a while after
clicking on "upgrade" (to 7.10)
and then offered up the "report crash" dialog.
got this on console after running "update-manager -c":

authenticate '/tmp/tmp13QH8r/gutsy.tar.gz' against
'/tmp/tmp13QH8r/gutsy.tar.gz.gpg'
