Public bug reported:
Installing Intrepid Beta (8.10) on a Compaq CQ50 100D laptop fails due to on
board NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G videocard.
while trying to start X it gives the message "Grapic card not recognized" It
gives the option to configure the config-file. it needs a reboot, which is not
possible trying the live CD. The alpha 5 still allowed me to ignore and to get
X started.
Searching the latest glx 177 -package it seems also not to support 8200M G, or
can you tell me which driver can be used (still the 177, or another one
instead?).
p.s. I created this bug on another PC.
