Tested on Intrepid Beta generic kernel (2.6.27-4-generic i686)
When lmpcm_usb is inserted, the LX5 mouse reports wheel tilt as XF86Back and
XF86Forward keyboard events instead of horizontal scroll - this is useless.
Removing lmpcm_usb and replugging the mouse causes it to work perfectly
(vertical and horizontal scroll work), even with a stub xorg.conf file. This is
a notable improvement from Hardy where the horizontal scroll was reversed and
needed to be remapped in xorg.conf.
I uphold my suggestion to blacklist this driver, because it is handled much
better by usbhid and evdev. Unfortunately I don't have an MX1000 to test.
