I have since obtained the new full version of Ubuntu from the source in Holland and have installed it. It is wonderful but I still can't run some Java programs as it tells me that it isn't installed. It shows that I have Java 5 installed but I can not seem to upgrade it to 7. When I get an upgrade notice in Mozilla Firefox it downloads the upgrade but can not install it.
