Public bug reported:
I'm trying 8.10 beta on my new laptop.
After booting, I am presented with a white screen. Nothing in it. Just white.
Not even the mouse pointer.
I killed kdm and launched startx myself, with the same result.
I'm sorry if I don't give you more info, but I'm no expert and this is
the first time I file a bug...
I hope this helps.
I can do more tests if you have suggestions of course.
