Still no sound in Gcompris... :-( Bummer !
No sound in hydrogen too, but that is in universe so that can happen. And see that hydrogen has no esd support ? Rhytmbox sound works, at least with ogg files (I took one from gcompris, the Brandenburger Concerto). But the volume control in the gnome panel complains about missing Gstreamer plugins and you can not change the volume via the panel.
