Shader files are not binary - they are text only. Actually Kubuntu includes already some shader files. Take a look at /usr/share/kde4/apps/kwin/. Each .vert and .frag file is a shader. You just have to look where these files come from and include the named files above in the same package. Or do I see it in a too simple way?
