Public bug reported:
The boot process randomly freezes in its early stage on my DELL Latitude
D630. When it happens, the display is completely scrambled and a bit
flickering. Interestingly, when I force a boot with no splash screen by
editing the GRUB boot line, I get the same result in the console: the
display get scrambled and the text becomes unreadable.
Just before it happens, the last line I can read is:
