I did switch to the Beta 8.10 release running 2.6.27-4. Unfortunately, now several things related to acpi have stopped working:
1. The toshiba-acpi kernel module itself seems to be missing. Thus, the Fn + keys for controlling brightness, etc., don't work at all. 2. I can still choose Hibernate from the power settings, but all that does is lock the screen and ask for the password. If I do log out, and get back to the username prompt, and then choose Hibernate, then it works. tog -- toshiba_acpi does not work on Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22096 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
