Public bug reported:
In /etc/matplotlibrc the default backend is set to "Agg", which does not
output anything in an ipython session.
Setting the backend manually either to "GTKAgg" (default in hardy),
"TkAgg" or "GTKCairo" solves this issue. Why was this changed?
