ffmpeg has pretty much changes since the version you have tested.
Please try with ubuntu 8.10 (beta or later). Alternatively you might want to
try the package from http://launchpad.net/~motumedia/+archive for hardy.
Additionally, could you please attach the file that caused the crash?
According to you backtrace, it seems to have been /home/sergey/Azureus\
Downloads/bigshooters_cumpilation.mov
