Public bug reported:
When Apport opens to allow you to submit a crash report to Launchpad,
during the Collecting Information stage, it causes X to become 'nearly'
unresponsive. X still recognises mouse movement, but the cursor position
only changes every few seconds.
Apport does not turn gray (unresponsive), but the cancel and close
buttons do not respond, and you are able to do little else.
Normally, the data would be collected, firefox would open, and a list of
similar bugs would appear, but Apport never passes the Collecting
Information stage.
