My guess is, 'no'.  I had this issue on migration from Dapper to Feisty,
as did the original poster. I removed extra <schedule> tags (see my post
above), and they've not cropped-up again since. Nor has eqonomize
crashed on startup.

That's not to say that a file that was corrupted in that way from a
previous version wouldn't crash the current one, I guess...
