Oops, wrong bug.
This is actually wontfix in jockey. We do need to know OS vendor and
version. Falling back to reading /etc/lsb-release would be faster, but
use a non-standardized interface. What should *really* happen is to
replace the /usr/bin/lsb_release implementation with something much
faster. It currently starts up a full Python interpreter just to read a
couple of values from a simple text file.
