The latest release of radeonhd (and so the version in ubuntu) is a few months old, and in current git are a lot bugs fixed and more cards supported.
I think it is not a bad idea to use a git snapshot in Ubuntu Intrepid, because there was only bug fixing and a few added PCI IDs for supporting new cards so I don't expect new bugs. You would make a lot of people happy. :) (This change is especially important because fglrx does nocht support the xorg version in Intrepid at the moment) -- No support for ATI RV770 chips (Radeon HD4800 series) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/257814 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
