Sorry about the regression, I really thought the functionality was just stripped out.
I didn't mean that in a 'caps means aggresive' way .. i always assumed there was a special 'REGRESSION' filter, because a lot of bug reports concerning regressions start like that. But the bug report is very valid though. I played with the weather thing for at least 10 minutes and couldn't find a way to get the weather working again. Now that you mention there is supposed to be autocompletition .. yes, i found something nearby .. and when I select that, the weather works. (i guess when you use autocompletition the weathercode is filled into some invisible form element) It did take a while to find something though, because i had to try typing every town nearby to find which one is in the auto-completition list.. So, the problems with this setup: 1) There is no indication that there is auto-completition that will fill in the coordinates 2) Auto-completition means you have to try all towns nearby (it would be smarter to reverse the order to [country], [town] 3) I assume weather only works when you use auto-completition .. so, just typing your town's name might be problematic. I may not be an elite hacker, but I'm not Ms. Simpleton either, and if I had troubles figuring this out and making the clock applet display the weather .. then millions will have those same issues as well. Also, in the past, i'm not sure if this was unique to dutch localisation, but it defaulted to 'Utrecht/Soesterberg' in Holland; as in select Dutch as installation language and that would be the default. Now, i'm pretty sure, most new users won't even realize the clock applet is capable of displaying the weather. 2008/10/7 Sebastien Bacher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > There is no need to writte regression in big letter in the title for > every behaviour change that attitude is not constructive.
