@Martin Pitt, You're right, blaming won't improve anything. As I see the situation, Ekiga 3 will not be in intrepid at its release date. I will release soon some packages for Intrepid, Hardy and Gutsy on http://ekiga.net (with the SONAME part). When Ubuntu will include Ekiga 3, I will redirect to those packages.
