Hi Donatas, I am a user of SE K700i and use the remote control functionality regularly. I have faced this problem but I believe this problem is not related to bluetooth packages.
I suggest following actions. See if those solve your problem. 1. Make sure that you have bluez-passkey-agent package installed. 2. Go through https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bluetooth/TestPlan and try executing test cases step by step. If you don't face any problem then proceed. 3. Delete any entry in the bluetooth devices sections of your phone that corresponds (or used to correspond) to your PC. 4. Go to the bluetooth remote control menu of your phone. 5. Before selecting any HID profile, select 'More' and then 'Select Device'. Now your phone will try to detect your PC. After this the remote control functionality should work. If still doesn't then report back any errors you may have observed. ** Changed in: bluez-utils (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- remote control does not work in Edgy's bluez-utils https://launchpad.net/bugs/70945 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
