I've just confirmed that we ship all the gtk2 engines. It seems like the
bug is caused by something else. Can you take screenshots?

** Summary changed:

- Xubuntu includes GTK themes without their respective theme engines
+ Selecting a theme other than MurrinaStormCloud results in the default gtk
theme being used instead of the actual theme.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xubuntu-desktop

- Just tried the Xubuntu 8.10 beta, but I suppose this is also the case
- for current clean Xubuntu installs. Several GTK themes are installed
- (e.g. Ubuntu's Human, Clearlooks and some Xfce themes), however, the
- theme engines that these themes require are not installed. This means
- the user is able to select the themes, but instead gets the ugly default
- GTK theme. Not only is this just plain ugly, it is also confusing that
- all themes (except for currently MurrinaStormCloud) look the same, and
- of course gives the wrong reputation to those themes.
+ Selecting a theme other than MurrinaStormCloud results in the default
+ gtk theme being used instead of the actual theme.
