Anyway, I can't reproduce this. Maybe you could provide some more information.
How are you copying? (context menu, shortcut, edit -> copy?)
What type of document are you copying from? (c++ code, ruby code, simple text
document...)
Same for the target document?
Is Syntax highlight on in either one of them?
