im now using 8.10 beta and when i plug the phone and do as storage device it says transfering file in the phone but the computer doesnt mounts it. but now i see a bug that is like mine and they solved this by the command "echo 64 > /sys/block/sda/queue/max_sectors_kb" , when i will be able to mount my phone ill do it and see if it solves my problem, heres the bug that i think he is like mine https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usbmount/+bug/129502
