I can still see the original problem. Totem's YouTube plugin can get through the proxy when searching, but if I try to watch a video from the list displayed it tries to connect to the internet directly regardless of my proxy settings.
I can see this in netstat: Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State tcp 0 1 192.168.91.128:44399 208.65.153.238:80 SYN_SENT This can never get through, and after a while I get: Could not resolve stream MRL for YouTube video "tBNLTKQdNeE". Seems like the plugin ignores the proxy settings when trying to play. -- [Hardy] Searching youtube videos runs 100% cpu forever. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
