I have today install and tested OpenSuse 11.1 beta-2 as well as Mandriva 2009. Both Linux OS make use of kernel 2.6.27 and both performs well on my PC Dell2400 dimension Intel chip i845G. The bug for i845G in Ubuntu is a real nasty one and as shown above has nothing to do with kernel 2.6.27 Is there a hope for a fix in Ubuntu!? Thanks for the effort put forth.
