* Is this reproducible? Yes, always.
* What specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? 1. Perform a fresh installation of Ubuntu 8.04.1 (Hardy) 32-bit on a computer or virtual machine (or create a new user with a clean home directory on an existing installation). 2. Upon arriving to the GNOME desktop, right-click the Clock applet on the top bar and select "Preferences". 3. In the Locations tab, add any single location. 4. In the General tab, check that "Show weather" and "Show temperature" are ticked. 5. Check that the weather does not appear in the Clock applet. 6. Right-click a free area on the top panel and select "Add to panel...", add a Weather Report applet. 7. Check that, upon adding the Weather applet, both it and the Clock applet now update and show the weather correctly. The expected behavior is that step 5 shows the weather correctly. -- Clock applet does not display weather until weather applet added https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279994 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
