Binary package hint: binutils-avr
It would be very usefull to add support for coff format in avr-objcopy.
The patch is quite well tested (it is included in Fedora since
binutils-2.16) and applicable to deb package with only small path
modifications. Having working coff output makes simulation with VMLAB
(under wine) possible. The patch derived from Fedora CVS which cleanly
applies to binutils-avr-2.18-3 source package is attached.
