Well, I suppose that means a lot of unhappy users, given that support for some chips is broken in the open-source driver as well (bug 274234).
But anyway, fglrx will surely appear in Intrepid even if it's released afterwise (and if it will support xorg 1.5), so I'm just going to wait for that...
