Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” source package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
On boot xserver fails with latest intel driver (...6).  After several restarts
during the boot the system goes into 'low resolution' mode (vesa?) with
2 choices of resolution 800x600 and 640x480.  I've removed the
xorg-xserver-video-intel (version ...6) and completely reinstalled with same
result.  If I remember correctly, I had the same issue when going to beta of
8.04 and the issue was fixed with final release of 8.04.  Attached is the xorg
log file.
