Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” source package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: On boot xserver fails with latest intel driver (...6). After several restarts during the boot the system goes into 'low resolution' mode (vesa?) with 2 choices of resolution 800x600 and 640x480. I've removed the xorg-xserver-video-intel (version ...6) and completely reinstalled with same result. If I remember correctly, I had the same issue when going to beta of 8.04 and the issue was fixed with final release of 8.04. Attached is the xorg log file. ** Attachment added: "lspci.vvnn.output" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18448156/lspci.vvnn.output -- intrepid xserver crash i845 toshiba laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/281427 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
