Hi,

This doesn't appear to be a fault with the software, so I am converting
this bug report to a question so that you can get help on resolving
the situation.

I would suggest you start by doing as the dialog says and trying to
install the package you want to install using "synaptic"
(System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager).
