* Is this reproducible?

It seems to be.  I haven't put 100% effort into drilling out how because
I'm used to just using the underlying command line utility (tar, zip,
etc.).  In the mean time, I got lazy and went with the double-click on
email attachments, hence file-roller.

* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

The attachment image is indicative of the last few email attachments
I've received ... which I suppose would be all zip files with a few
nested directories and files.  I'll make a few "dummy" zip and/or tar
files this evening and attach those.
