Public bug reported:

I use VLC 0.9.2 (default in intrepid) on my laptop, and I want the sound
to be played on my desktop (easy, with pulse audio and the packet
padevchooser, I just broadcast the stream). It works, but the sounds
lags (it's unusable).

Exactly the same movies work fine with other players (totem for
example), so it's not a network problem.

It was working fine in ubuntu hardy with vlc 0.8.6e.
