hi, I am having a similar kind of problem now after updating the Intrepid beta with 2.6.27-7 kernel. the fan runs at full speed, with the max noise for almost 4 secs, and slows down for a second, and goes on...
So few hours back i downloaded the latest cd image(dated 12th October) from the daily build section, and wiped my drive and gave a clean installation. but of no use... even now fan is making same big noises. any suggestions?
