OK, but the official Beta doesn't properly configure my network interface. I saw on the site the daily builds would re-enable it.
The CD on the daily build is not recognized, regardless, when APT is configured. Nor will it update from the 8.04 Ubuntu OS, as per the error msg. I uploaded.
