Unfortunately, the version of ubuntu you are using is no longer supported for
general bug fixes. Only security bugs, and serious bugs which result in data
loss are fixed. Thus, any fixes for flash crashing firefox will not make it to
your release, but will go into the 8.04 release.
Can you upgrade to 8.04, and report back if you still have the problem?
