Public bug reported: After upgrading to 8.10 I have an "unexpected inconsistency" mounting my second drive /dev/sdb3 superblock has an invalid ext3journal (inode 8).
fsck is unable to recover the error. Using a prior kernel 2.6.24-21 results in a successfull automatic file-check, after manually doing a tune2fs -j the fs can be used again without any problem. Sorry that I couldn't switch to the right package ** Affects: kernel-image-2.4.27-i386 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kernel 2.6.27-7 deletes ext3 journal https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282348 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
