Could you please provide some more information of your system??
What's the kernel you're running? ( you could see with a 'uname -a' command in
a terminal)
Could you attach a list of your hardware?
you could obtain it typing "lspci -vv " in a terminal, as well :)
Anway, usplash is surely the wrong package. I'm reassigning to gdm. (
feel free to reassign as well, if i'm wrong )
